The Chris Paul Effect

Chris Paul is back.

The All-Star point guard conducted a 13-0 lead at the beginning of the game after an 18 games break due to his shoulder injury back in January 3rd.

He scored seven points with a 50% field goal accuracy, handed in eight assists, two rebounds and four steals within 23 minutes and helped the Clippers raped the 76ers with a 45 points gap.

It did not seems to be too big of a problem for the Clipper, since they had won most of the games without the assists from Chris. The fact of the matter is they may even ended up winning the Division Championship without the help of the 28 years old. The correct question to ask should be how far the Clippers would go in the Playoffs without Chris.

Just simply look back at the Clippers vs. Heat at home.  Darren Collison simply could not catch up with the games momentum, which only handed in five points. He basically passed the ball to Griffin which he scored 43 points with 15 rebounds.

The equation is pretty simple.

With Chris Paul, equal more points, more assists, and more steals.

Without Chris Paul, equal less points, less assists and less steals.

And with that, is what I called the Chris Paul Effect.
